With an international airport and two train lines, Central Palm Beach County serves as the main transportation hub for all of The Palm Beaches and is one of its most happening areas.

Lake Worth GET DIRECTIONS
The epicenter of Palm Beach County’s arts scene, the seven square mile city of Lake Worth is situated between some of the most action-packed waterways in The Palm Beaches so it’s also a perfect destination for plenty of water-soaked fun.
With palm-dotted streets and quaint bed-and-breakfasts, downtown Lake Worth is peppered with eclectic boutiques, art galleries, antiques shops and restaurants with plenty of local flavor.
There’s always something going on here with lots of local Palm Beach events happening throughout the year. There’s even a historic playhouse that hosts everything from ballet to Broadway.
Just across Lake Worth Lagoon, is a boaters paradise that stretches all the way to West Palm Beach. Here is where you’ll discover postcard-perfect shores, a new fishing pier and beachside restaurants with spectacular vistas of the Atlantic Ocean.
For a true local Florida experience, head west to Lake Osborne at John Prince Memorial Park. This well-stocked freshwater lake has boat-launching ramps and fishing piers where you can cast off for the day.
There’s also a great campground with volleyball and tennis courts, grills and just about everything else you need to rough it “Palm Beaches style.”
Golf lovers can also take to the links at one of Lake Worth’s many golf courses.

Nearby is Manalapan, a beautiful barrier island on Palm Beach’s southernmost tip. If you like to dive, the wreck of Lofthus is situated in just 15’ – 20’ of water and is only about 175 yards off shore in the Florida Underwater Archeological Preserve.

The Equestrian Capital of the World, Florida’s tony horse country lies just west of Palm Beach. Home to an internationally recognized equestrian community and a celebrity social scene, Wellington is the place to play by day and ride off into the sunset at night.
Wellington’s 12 week-long Equestrian Festival jump starts in January when the world’s top Olympic riders compete daily and where many famous faces come to watch the action from private boxes at the prestigious International Polo Club Palm Beach.
If horseplay isn’t your thing, there are plenty of beaches nearby including the Lake Worth Municipal Beach and the Palm Beach Municipal Beach.
You can also hit the Wellington Environmental Preserve which is lush with nature trails, a six-story observation tower and of course, an equestrian trail.

West Palm Beach GET DIRECTIONS
A vibrant city that’s always bustling with a jam-packed social calendar and great entertainment, WPB is a hip haven for chic eateries, shops and nightclubs.
Overlooking sparkling Lake Worth Lagoon, West Palm’s Clematis Street is a haven for funky sidewalk cafes, colorful murals and buzz worthy bars. In downtown’s city square, live bands inspire people to dance in the street. For great shopping, hop on the trolley to City Place, a lively shopping district and open-air plaza which often hosts fun events and live music.
Located just south of downtown is Antique Row, the Southeast’s premier antique collaborative where you can discover all kinds of exceptional treasures.
Dedicated bargain hunters wont want to miss the Palm Beach Outlets where there are always big discounts at over 100 stores including brand favorites like Saks, J. Crew, Banana Republic and White House|Black Market to name a few.
Northwood Village is another cool area you’ll want to check out. This small eclectic enclave with its iconic candy-colored storefronts, is tucked away just north of downtown. Renowned for its art galleries and award-winning global cuisine, the “Village” also hosts a monthly Wine Stroll on
the last Friday of very month.
Theater buffs can take in one of the great Broadway shows, concerts or theatrical performances at the acclaimed Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.
For art aficionados, the extensive collections of American, Chinese, contemporary and European pieces at the Norton Museum of Art are a must see.
At the jungle-like Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens, you can view nine major sculptures which are set amidst palms and tropical plants.
