County won’t disappoint. Downtown Delray Beach has one of the area’s most interesting venues for music and thea-ter. The Arts Garage (artsgarage.org) embraces a BYOW — Bring Your Own…Whatever mentality so you can bring your own bottle and enjoy some great jazz and blues musicians or take in one of the many theater productions held throughout the year. Other major entertainment venues include West Palm’s Kravis Center for the Performing Arts (www.kravis.org) with its 2,195-seat concert hall as well as smaller indoor and outdoor ven-ues. Summer In Paradise

West Palm Beach: From fireworks to live music, Summer in Paradise (SIP) offers FREE things to do in downtown West Palm Beach throughout the summer. See a flick under stars with Screen on the Green. Try out your mini golf skills on the Glow Fore It course. Sit back, let the music play with Sunday on the Waterfront and Clematis by Night. Things get delicious with BBQ, Brews & Blues, a mouth-watering barbecue and microbrew festival in the Historic Northwest, creative specials from downtown West Palm Beach restaurants and shops, the re-turn of the Northwood Mango Heritage Festival. And it’s amazing fireworks over the water-front for America’s birthday during 4th On Flagler. Takes place along Flagler Drive Water-front, Downtown West Palm Beach.


July 4
Fourth Of July Celebration

Delray Beach: Delray Beach’s coolest event of the year features back-to-back music, lots of family activities, custard and burger eating contests, a Beer Garden and more. Takes place from 4 – 9pm along A1A and Atlantic Ave. in Delray Beach. Info: julyfourthdelraybeach.com.

4th On Flagler

West Palm Beach: If you’re going to celebrate America’s birthday, make it big, bold, and cut loose in style. 4th on Flagler, South Florida’s largest free Independence Day event, dazzles with a firework spectacle over the downtown West Palm Beach waterfront. Before the sky rockets set off, join in the street party. Listen to live music, try delicious foods, have cold drinks, and settle to a viewing spot along the seawall.

July 12 – 22
The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival

Jupiter: For two weekends in July, you can enjoy a free under-the-stars “Shakespeare By The Sea”production from the best of the Bard. Bring your blanket, beach chair and picnic basket. Food truck concessions will also be on hand. Gates open at 6:30pm with show at 8pm. Takes

Palm Beach Summer Beer Fest

West Palm Beach: Enjoy tasting a curated collection of local and national breweries at South Florida’s only indoor Craft Beer Fest. Delray Beach: This week long gastronomic event showcases the diverse dining scene and wide-array of culinary experiences in Downtown Delray Beach during the summer season. The Palm Beaches: This annual Latin food and music festival kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month with a lively weekend-long celebration. 45th Annual Octoberfest

Lake Worth: Dine on authentic meals of bratwurst and schnitzel; sip imported and domestic beers, schnapps, 30 different types of liquor; and listen to entertainment by two Original Ok-toberfest bands direct from Germany. Annual Feast Of The Sea

West Palm Beach: The 4th Annual West Palm Beach seafood festival returns with a lineup of top local chefs. Enjoy live music, cooking demos and hourly Knife Fight chef competitions throughout the day. West Palm Beach: This exhibit without boundaries is a true outdoor experience.  Beach Thanksgiving Weekend

Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade

Palm Beaches: Look up in the sky, not for Santa, but for firework, which signals the Palm Beach Boat Parade on its way. See boats decorated with dancing lights and creative holiday decorations make their way along the intracoastal Waterway from the North Palm Beach Marina north to the iconic Jupiter Lighthouse.  Holiday Boat Parade

Boynton Beach/Delray Beach: A flotilla of brightly decorated boats from mega yachts to tiny dinghies light up the night as they parade from the Lantana Bridge near Old Key Lime House along the Intracoastal Waterway to the C-15 canal in Delray. The event begins at the Boynton Harbor Marina starts at 6:00 pm with live music setting the stage for the parade.
